I know it's way too early to take it seriously, but they're saying 60% chance of rain on Saturday, and 30% on Sunday. But still, rain or shine, I'll be having a blast!
Who the fuck cares? AWD!
Also, as for the pass I'm planning to do on the speed limit-going, pussy car-driving ricers, the Talon pulls very nicely past 120 with the 16g (I tested on a slight uphill, too), where the T25 was fighting to provide enough air. 140 should be an easy passing speed goal at this point.

I have a feeling you'll all be passing my ass. No speeding tickets are on order for me. I like my insurance rates for two cars being about half what most people pay for just an Evo.

Spirited driving is fine with me, but I also do not plan on driving like a complete asshat.

I'm going to post this to prevent misinformation from spreading:
Never once on any MitsuStyle cruise has anyone been pulled over or a received a ticket and I plan to keep it that way. We have fun, but we are not retarded. The worst case of asshat driving we've had was by a certain MNSC member driving a Cavalier who tagged along; he is the reason why I no longer post the cruise on MNSC. Also, with 1 exception, we've never lost anybody or had anybody complain about excessive speeds. These cruises are geared towards ALL members no matter your driving style. There will be a group of cars towards the front leading the pack taking a few more spirited blasts than others, but I can promise you we'll all arrive at our destination at the same time as a group. In the off chance someone does get separated they will know exactly where we are headed and what route we will be taking; this is the point of our detail map packets. If anyone has any questions or concerns they'd like to discuss with me please please please send me a PM so we can discuss them; I'd hate for someone to skip the cruise due to concerns that weren't addressed.

no one is forcing anyone to do anything they dont want to. If you prefer to not be spirited and just enjoy the drive and scenery thats fine.

My car will be stored for the winter on the 11th at noon!! I wish I could go with my car but maybe I'll be able to get a ride! If I keep it out for even a day more then I'll have to pay insurance on it because it would be due on the 10th....

So pay insurance for an extra weekend. Tell your agent you want to extend your policy for an additional week (or weekend) and I'm sure s/he'll be more than glad to take your money.

No, there was a downhill progression starting with a post by me, and then it ended with a post by me... but there were others contributing in between!
Also, you guys really need to learn that 90% of the time, I'm being sarcastic in some way, shape, or form. I do realize that a lot of that gets lost when words become text, but I'm not (and never would be) serious about sustaining a speed like that on public roads. I've said time and time again that my car doesn't go over 120 in the dry. Normally it doesn't do over 90. It gets body float in the triples, and I don't like the feeling of a car on shitty tires being that loose on the road. My old truck was that loose, and I almost lost the rear end at 80 mph being a total retard. That's a feeling I never want to repeat.
That said, I will be passing them at a decent amount above the limit, provided we're cop free (I'm looking to you radar detector peoples for this one). It will likely be in the very low triples if it's dry, certainly not if it's wet.
