Eh I didnt think it was anything special. Kinda boring and long actually. Went back and forth between other shows.
Visually it was cool, but the whole thing seems like such a waste of money, and China hosting the olympics makes me not want to watch them at all. The way they portray their nation, and edit and alter everything to their liking is just wrong.
Millions of dollars on fireworks, and most of their country is dirt poor.
End rant/

It was cool to watch for a few minutes, but WAY too long and drawn out.

Too bad half of it was fake... The Chinese altered the fireworks seen on TV and added computer generated fireworks to the mix. Then it was found out the little girl who was singing wasnt actually the singer. The Chinese had the little girl sing because the person orignally slated to do so was, too ugly.
Uggghhhh....China.
