The 1g has a cracked windshield. Got a quote today from Autoglass Specialist that was $260 installed, which seems high to me.
Advice? Options?

I've always used Glass Source in Golden Valley and they've done a nice job. They replaced my 1G glass but I don't remember how much it was since insurance covered it.

Wtf thats rediculous. How is the glass any different than what is used on an old lancer.

all it is mirage glass. it get to be that high because of the weather strips that brake when you take them off and the go from the front bottom of the windshield all the way to the bottom of the rear window. it is just one big piece.

I wouldn't complain for that price. Everything I have ever had replaced was well over $500!!

$260 installed isn't really a bad price. When my hatch window broke last winter, it cost me about 200 installed, and that was basically the cost of the urethane and the glass.
