So i attempted to put new seals into a NT TB that i have and i need to get the shafts machined to accept the bigger seals, does anyone know where i can get this done ASAP.

Also i learned why cheap tools are cheap, so they can be destroyed by DSM throttle bodies.

Thanks

Aaron

What do you mean, have the shafts machined? I installed DSM TB seals in my 75mm Ford TB and all I had to do was bore out the center sections to fit the seals in. It's a funky size drill bit, but I've got it here if you want to borrow it.

The seals don't fit in the bore they are supposed to fit in, the seals are 10mm.

I don't think any shaft machining is needed. It's the bore that may need to be drilled. I was able to cram mine in my stock NT TB. But I am not 100% sure that it is leak free. If you find a good way to do it, let me know as I should prolly do the same.

Did you destroy the the old seals? Cause you can rebuild them. I dunno if a N/A TB is the same but you can burn the rubber out of the old seal and replace them with o rings. You use the old seal to hold the o rings in. But N/a's probally diffrent.

NT ones are different. They don't have the metal ring with an O-ring on it.

I didn't see a metal ring in mine just the o-ring.

Exactly. Some of the turbo ones use a metal retaining ring that you can reuse with a new o-ring from a parts store. N/T ones don't have that metal ring, they are different then the turbo ones.
