OK so I'm sure this is just about out of the question, but here it goes. I'm from northern MN and I have an appointment at DB in Rogers on the 30th of July. I ordered a SCM6152S (S Cover) from Slowboy Racing awhile back and knowing their shipping process I'm sure it wont arrive in time for me to be able to use it, and I have no other turbo to use in its place. So my plea is this....If anyone in the Metro area has a SCM6152 I could use for tuning purposes it would be much appreciated, I don't want to have to cancel my appointment because it will end up costing me about $140 just for the reservation. Also if this doesnt happen for me, if anyone else would like to take my spot on the dyno for the 30th you can contact me at 218-556-7518 or PM me on here. Thanks for any help.

You could just cancel your order with slowboy and order the turbo through DB or another one of the forum venders.

That is a possibility, but as far as the whole rescheduling goes, I would still really like this to happen on this date.

Well thats what I ment. You might be able to get a turbo before the 30th from one of the local vendors faster than from Slowboy. So You could have your turbo and make your appointment on time.

If you give DB enough notice (read 3 days or more) they can move your deposit for you.
Have you talked to slowboy to see how much longer until it gets to you? If you called DB tomorrow, they could also call pte tomorrow and see how long it would take to get the turbo to you.

Well I will call up DB and Map tomorrow to see if that is a possibility, thanks for the suggestion. Yeah I've contacted Slowboy already, and they now, like always, have no idea where anything is or when it should arrive.

People never learn. Its posted all over this board how bad SBR is. Go buy the turbo from MAP or DB and you'll probably get it in under a week.

PTE turbos are usually custom built though, so if they are out of a specific part, it can sometimes take a while. Before we order turbos for customers, we talk to our rep at PTE and make sure everything is instock or find out about how long it will be.
