OK so anyone seen or played this game?
My brother just called me about this that he saw on CNBC. Its an MOMRPG that you pay to buy online moneys. So there is a worldwide exchange rate and you would pay like $30usd for say a couple grand Lindin Dollars "L$" Then you enter the world, and in order to buy clothes for your player, you actually spend your real money. Heres the twist, The person you buy the clothes from ACTUALLY GETS YOUR MONEY! So You can go in there, and actually own a business and you own the intellectual rights to the clothes you make, or the building you design, or the house you sell, etc. you create a business and people pay you for your service or property and that money goes into your bank account!!!
I guess they were saying on the news report that people are making big money doing this. and now advirtisers are getting involved such as nissan and housing places, i guess nissan has an island in the game where you can test drive the vehicals and when you purchase the car in L$ you can go to the dealer and pick up the actual car. (because the L$ is in reality actual money!)

Second Life is as old as if not older than World of Warcraft. Welcome to 2008. :)

Yeah. This has been around for years and years. Tom, I thought you were in the tech industry as your profession?

Being in it and being good at it and in the know are two different things. ;)
