Brian, After reading through your posts, I think your opinions on this whole situation are a little naieve. To say this could have been some kind of a joke, and that makes it "not so bad" is just wrong. If I were to walk up to your little sister and slap her ass or make some obscene comment because a friend told me to do it, I'm suer you would be just as offended as if I had done it of my own free will. And posting a bunch of definitions is absolutly worthless. As you said, everyone will define those terms differently, and you said yourself that you don't see them exactly as they are defined. So why even post them at all? You said you don't see this as molestation because (as I understood your posts), there may not have been any physical pain. That does not mean it was not an unwanted sexual advance, or an inapropriate touch. So to me, that classifies it as sexual harassment, sexual assult, and molestation.

Now as for these punks who beat the father, they deserve to have the fucking book thrown at them and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

I simply feel that the focus should be on the father getting beaten more than the girl getting touched. This is just my opinion and it doesn't matter (especially since these guys are already free...I think). Obviously, yes touching that girl is completely uncalled for, but I feel like almost killing a man deserves a little more attention.

I guess I see it this way, what if all they did was touch the girl and accept getting yelled at by the father instead of retaliating? Would they still have gone to jail and everything?

What if they didn't touch the girl at all and just beat the man instead? What would be the punishment then?

You guys are just stuck on the fact that you don't think I care that this little girl was harassed. That is not the case!

Why are you even wondering what the punishement would have been if it were a different scenario??

If the girl was just touched and the father yelled at them for doing it, he could still have them arrested for sexual assault- only the one who touched the girl though.

If they just beat the guy for no reason, they would all go to jail for assault, like they are now.

Either way, the person touching the girl or the people beating the guy down can go to jail.

The focus is on the whole situation, and the girl getting touched resulted in the father getting beat up. How are we putting more focus on the girl, we are not. We are just simply stating that it is what caused the whole issue.

In order to get to the end you must start from the beginning.
Nothing is taking away from the fact that the man was beaten. But what was the most fucked up about the story is that a 12 year old girl was touched in a sexual manner by a man over 18 right in front of the father, Who any father who is in fact a MAN would say something to this person (regardless of color). Then getting to the fight he got beat by 8 fucking gangsta wannabes with prior convictions including aiding and embedding and running prostitutes, with no respect for the human race, all in front of his daughter and wife.
If you start at the beginning it truely brings to light the whole situation.
if you want to start at the end, yes its fucked up that 8 guys beat on an older man. but the whole situation makes it that much worse because if you picture the whole thing going down there are so many "what ifs" and "i would have done this..." situations that could have happened. But I feel like the father definatly showed he is more of a man then all of those fags put together.
The fact that no one jumped in to help is probeble due to the fact it was Midnight and there probebly wasnt many people around.
Has anyone found out whether this guy is alright? They were saying something about possible bleeding in the brain?

Brian, you just stated right here what happened (12 yr old girl's ass was slapped). I would call that an indecent sexual advance and would constitute it as "molestation" as you just did.
