I get a maximum of 99.6% on my tps with my logger and I read it should be 100%, even when I open the tb plate past where the pedal on the floor opens it I still get 99.6%. I don't think I can adjust it because it seems like it will only read up to 99.6%, anyone have any input? I have the tps set at .9k closed, also the tps never drops below 16% on the logger and I read it is supposed to be at 10% when the plate is closed.

Also, with the pedal on the floor of the car, should the tb plate be all the way opened, mine doesn't open all the way I believe, or does it? Is the plate not supposed to be all the way open to the point where it hits the stopper, here is a pic of what I am talking about, this is where the tb plate is at with the pedal on the floor.

I guess no one wan't to answer this, I am guessing that everything is fine then because the car runs good. I bet 99.6% is close enough and the tb plate is not supposed to open all the way. Anyone?

I believe the cut off for WOT is 95%. If you are consistently above that when you put your foot all the way to the floor you should be fine.

If you want to test or adjust your TPS you need to check the voltage running through the wires. I can't remember which ones, but I feel like it's the middle and front ones, not the rear. I could be wrong though. Turn the key to the on position, but do not start the car. When closed the voltage should be .48-.52 volts. As you open the throttle it should smoothly climb to ~5 volts. Those numbers should roughly correspond to your throttle percentage (.5 volts being 10% of 5 volts, 2.5 volts being 50%, etc...).

Anything over 75% throttle and it really does not matter, 99,6% is close enough to 100%.

Good, everything is fine. what about my 16% baseline, I thought it was supposed to be 10%? I think I have a MAF that has lower honeycomb removed, is this good or bad?

I figured you could round, TPS has a huge tolerance! So would I get more performance with my plate being more open which would mean more flow? anyone?

And who has 1g dsm link for me, pleez!! I think I need to get my suspension in line before anything, anyone have shocks for a 1g fwd? By the way, are ball joints pressed in or held in by c-clips?

Having the TPS set correctly is most important for idle.
