Yup, you're right, they were discontinued for a little while which is too bad otherwise I might have a set on my car.

Got the tires today. Love the shipping with Tirerack, only took 2 days for ground shipping :)

TireRack is the only place I buy tires from; they make it too easy!

Those are a low-end budget performance tire with no stellar characteristics. Sorry :)

Chris if im not mistaken the tires you put on your evo are pretty far down the list also.. Don't get me wrong it has a nice tread pattern but when it comes to performance tires and ratings I saw it was pretty low compared to other companies.

I've got the Falkens on my car. I'm sure they grip like hell(haven't tested them yet) but they kinda suck on the street. My car wanders around a bit, but maybe that's just from having 255's on there. :crapper:

Sorry, try again :) My tire, the Sumitomo HTR Z III, a "max performance summer" tire, beats the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position, Continental ContiSportContact 3, and the Yokohama ADVAN Sport; these are all also "max performance summer" tires. The Dunlop DZ101 is an "ultra high performance summer" tire and is ranked last in its category by a fairly large margin behind some pretty low-end stuff.

No reason for trouble, Preference is everything.

The 050A mentioned above is actually a summer-only tire and is very highly regarded. Just because you sell something doesn't mean you know everything about them; please stop. The 615 and 01R tires are "extreme performance summer" tires; of course they will be better than the HTRZIII's (as they should be considering the price and decrease in tread life). I feel the HTRZIII is one of the best bang-for-the-buck summer performance tires for street use on the market today. for autocross, I give the nod to the Z1's followed by the 615's.

Swing and a miss! 3 strikes and you're out! LOL

I believe there are 7 variations of the 050 and I do not believe a single one is an all-season tire.

I found no conflicting info on Bridgestone's site compared to TireRack's info.
