Looking to buy a 1g fwd rear sway bar plus all the mounting hardware. Let me know what you got.

I recomend getting the Suspensions Techniques kit. Talk to MAP about it, but I know when I bought one 6-7 years ago I got it for $145. I was very impressed with the bar and it improved handling more than my coilovers did.

*edit*
Not bad, the price hasn't gone up much in that time, MAP lists it at $170.

Thanks, I got a line on a ST rear bar at the moment, so we'll see. I've read quite a few reviews about the rear sway bars and am very excited to see how much of an improvement it'll make.

I can't afford tires yet, so this seems to be the best bang for buck upgrade.

On the 1G FWD DSM the best "bang for the buck" mods you can do are the rear anti-sway bar and the front strut tower brace. The FWD chassis is not as heavily reinforced as the AWD chassis so the strut bar really helps.

Sweet, I already got a front and I also made my own rear from a piece of angle iron.

Thinking about it, the strut bars really did help. The car feels so composed under heavy cornering, braking, accelerating. Compared to my Avenger, which is just like a 2g but bigger, the chassis feels miles ahead in the 1g.

If you really want to feel a difference, take that front bar off and you'll realize how much slop it cleans up.

I might try that for shits n giggles some time. I'll have to get more gas in it though...

Another thing, when installing the strut bar, have the front end jacked up so weight is off the suspension.

Front ST sway bar, brand new, $75. This is collecting dust.
