Did anyone else get hit by the storm Sunday, Brown? Our house in Ham Lake got hit hard. The Lincoln and M were sitting outside, as well as 2 trucks.

I am pretty sure the Lincoln is totalled, it must have 100 dents in it. The hail had to be about golf ball sized from the size of the dents. The M needs a new hood and a bout 40 dents pulled. I doubt it will be totalled, but probably in the $6k-$8k in damage area. My gold chevy in back I didn't have insurance on because it isn't being driven, it has some pretty thick sheetmetal though, it didn't take a ton of damage. My girlfriends dad's truck was right behind the Chevy and got freakin' hammered. It looks horrible. The worst part is that he already claimed hail damage on it for $700 and never fixed it, but this is 10x as bad as the old damage. I feel bad about that one.

We also have about 50 holes in the siding on the house. The roof is too high up to see well, but I am sure the roof is toast also. I'll try and get some pic's up, I know Brian had this happen to his house a couple years ago. Has anyone else dealt with this? I am curios as to what will happen with the cars. I would like to buy the Lincoln back and use it for a DD if they do total it. I haven't dealt with hail damage before, just accident damage.

That sucks JET! Take your cars to Dent Kraft for an estimate/repair.

can you get away with PDR on the dents? or are they going to have to strip it down and replace/bondo the panels? We also had siding and roofing problems after a storm and had a guy come out with an estimate, insurance ended up paying for it.

Don't think the insurance company is going to like you after this :)

I was luckily out of town in Fargo, but I think it got real bad here. My buddy lives a few blocks up right by Lowe's, and he lost a tree. Luckily it missed his house and just fell across his driveway. My house appears to be just fine luckily as well. It got pretty rough around here though from what I hear.

Jet, I'd see about getting some sort of inspector out there. That storm that hit Rogers a few years back, well my dad had a few trees down and didn't look like horrible damage but a little bit. An inspector was walking around doing other houses in the neighborhood and stopped and talked to my dad because he was out working in the yard. He told my dad he'd do a quick inspection for him if he wanted. In the end, my dad got all new siding, and new doors on the house and insurance paid for damn near all of it.

A few people I work with live in Hugo. They all missed the tornado by a couple miles luckily, but they all need new siding roofs, and garage doors.

can you get away with PDR on the dents?

PDR is awesome b/c of how well it can take care of hail damage! Unless the paint is cracked, PDR will fix it better and cheaper.

Our old house in BP got hit three years ago. Didn't look like much, but we got all new siding, roof and some trim work paid for by insurance. All my cars at the lot got hit lightly last fall, I had to eat that one.

We got light hail here, but since we all have brand new houses, I don't think our roofs have any damage worth mentioning.

My sisters house in centerville got hit pretty hard. Siding, garage door and probably a roof. They were out of town so that night I went and checked it out for them. It was like 2-3 hrs after the storm and there was still hail all over the place. Looked like it snowed at their house.
