How hard would it be to turbo the 6G72 SOHC V6 with MIVEC.... Just wondering...
It's like the 3000GT, only shitty... and half the cam shafts, and FWD :stick:

Kiel I'm not trying to sound like a dick here, but I thought you were planning/working on selling your car?

Don't forget there is not a whole lot of spare room in the engine bay. I am also sure the engine internals are far weaker than the TT engines.

Was and Is, but I've been told that a junk yard turbo car is not hard to do... And if someone drives a car thats both fast AND good looking, I might have a better chance of selling it... who knows... not to mention I'm going to win the lottery... :razz2:

Yunkyard turbo cars aren't worth a anything...probably hurt the value. Nobody is going to buy a year old car that has ghetto fabbed stuff on it, especially since it will automatically void the warranty.

and now folks, its time for another good idea, bad idea.
Good idea, adding forced induction to a car
bad idea, adding forced induction to a car ghetto style, voiding warrenty, and having it be your daily driver.
good idea, thinking
bad idea, thinking out loud (case in point <---myself)
Its up to you, imo i'd look into having a 'kit' put together for you, just slapping random parts on, doesn't always work out the best.
I think your rods are plenty strong enough, not sure on the pistons, if you want I can do some r&d into your motor...
good luck.
