Anyone here with a DSM from Brainerd?

i just sold my car to some kid in Brainers on Saturday. On Sunday, he's telling me that it will studder when it reaches 4.5k when boosting. I'd like to drive it myself to diagnose, but I'm not willing to drive 2+ hours just to see what the problem might be. Anyone want to help a fellow DSM'er in Brainerd diagnose his problem?

If he did the lifters recently then maybe then came loose happened to my first dsm.
If not some kind of fuel cut, maybe he turned it up.
