So last night i had the worst night, my teeth were bothering me so bad that i did not sleep a wink. Every 15-20 seconds (literally) i had to slush cold water around to dull the pain and spit it once it gets too warm.
So this morning i called a dentist in my insurance network. They were luckly able to get me in for an emergancy work...
Now i must say, i totally brought this on myself. i have completly fucked up my teeth to the point where they need a lot of work, i had multiple cracked teeth and cavaties.
So this morning we decided to work on the left side of my mouth only (as that was the side that was killing me...
5 pulled teeth (2 being wisdom teeth), 4 root canals and 2 bridges later i was pain free and in dept $6000 bucks. :(
Anyways, i was completly loopy at work after being really numb off novacaine. But im really happy at the turnout and being that these teeth have been aching for one full month, im really happy to have this done. now all thats left is the right side and the front. Ill be getting out of this about $15-17k in the hole.

Jesus... No dental insurance or what?

If he is like me it only covers a certain fixed amount like $1000 or something. I just got Invisaligns and they ran me 4 grand...

x2. most dental insurnace plans have a really low cap.

sorry man, but money is just money. i know people say that, but if youre not in pain anymore, thats what matters.

Damn dude, I'm happy you got it done but that sucks about how much it costs :( I'm blessed with good teeth, I may not have anything else but at least I have good teeth!

Shoulda just got dentures :(

I have work I need to get done, nothing as extensive as you, but I know I have at least 4 cavities and have no idea how deep they are. My dental isurance sucks too, so I've been avoiding the dentist. So far, no pain, but I know by delaying the visit I'm just making my bill that much more expensive

Damn dude, sorry for your pain.

But do you not brush your teeth? Or do you just have weak teeth?

Wow, your teef was messed up Tom! I thought mine were bad, I have really deep channels in my molars and have had 3 root canals over the years. Spreading it out helps a ton, but the crowns are fucking expensive. You probalby could have saved a lot of money by getting it done back here in MN! Most insurance caps out at $1,500, so it doesn't cover much. That sucks you have to spend so much on your teeth!
