We are all invited to a Porsche show they are holding on May 5th. There will be a ton of hot cars, they will be demonstrating their PDR techniques, and hopefully be estimating cars.
We can also go in for estimates at any time and get the group discount (~25%) on all repairs. Just tell Don that you're from MitsuStyle and Chris Hughes sent you.
Well I went in this morning to have my dent taken care of. I didn't get it done since it was going to take 2+ hours of work and the cost was a little higher. I wasn't upset though since they hadn't seen the dent before and I was told by a few other shops that it would be $100 ish and probably would never come out fully. Well these guys said it would be around $225-$250 but with a club discount I'd be at $200 roughly. They also said with that time involved and their abilities they would get it out and I'd never know it was there. Let's see, $100 for a little repair and a dent visable for good, or $200 for it to looks showfloor new. Yeah, that's an easy choice to make. So I'll schedule it when I can arrange the day better.
I must say the guys there where pretty damn cool. They where moving a few cars around. Lots of higher end rides that made my new car look like a pile of crap. Few new BMWs, Porsche in the shop, and this sexy fuck'n F450. When they started it up and drove it outside I wanted to run over and hump it. So fuck'n sexy. And brand new, 1000 miles on it. Sorry for the shitty pics, it was with a camera phone.
Yeah, I don't have any reason to take a car for PDR work anywhere else so far.

Today I had a dent fixed on an Impreza in a really tough spot above the taillight near where two edges meet and it was only $100. Don spent a long time working on this one, he had to remove the taillight and take the trunk carpeting out, then drill an access hole. Afterwards, he rust-proofed everything then puttied over the hole so if it looks like nothing happened since it blends in with the factory putty (of course, this is behind all the factory carpeting and panels). The dent is 100% gone and the car looks flawless.
I also had the 3 dents on my S2k estimated at an insane price since I set this whole thing up :D My car goes in next Monday afternoon.
Anyways, when you go in, just tell Don that you're part of Chris Hughes' group from MitsuStyle and he'll give you the group rate discount. His estimates take about 5 minutes and he said in all his years of doing this he only has had to charge more than the estimate 3 times when serious body work was required (not bad when 15-20 cars come through his shop per day!).

Sweet. Maybe I can get the CR-V hail dents taken care of.
I didn't see this thread until today. I wish I had seen it earlier. Finally I can have the insurance company sign off on this and not have to worry if I get into an accident if they'll repair it.

I got my car back today and it looks perfect!
He is also offering very good deals on clear bras and touch-up painting.
Yet another insanely cheap quote was given to Peter today for his M3.
