Enough is enough, this thread is not for comparing one brand vs. another brand of transmission. If you're curious, start a new thread in the appropriate section of this board. Also, do not post things for sale unless they are in your physical possession. If you actually have the transmission then I don't care, but if its sitting over at your friend's house then he should be selling it not you.

*Edit*
Thread cleaned up. Make sure you have this transmission in your possession. I don't want to hear about this kid getting ripped off by your friend and how its not your fault b/c all you were doing was selling it for him. I've seen it happen too many times so consider this and how it may affect your reputation; it may be best for your friend to post it for sale himself.

I do have it in my possession, it's in my garage. Now I do not see this as a problem, im trying to help my buddy and someone else find a great transmission with less hassle and for good price. Im hear to help people with what I can, not make false accusations. I knew this when I posted it to begin with. Ive known this guy for a very long time, reason he allows me to hold the transmission and make the decision to sell for him.

On another note, Thanks for cleaning the thread up.

*Edit* 2200 seems as a reasonable offer. And on another note you said you have a 99, now if I remember right their is something different about the 2g's trans. from the 95 model year and the 97-99 model year. Im going to ask around to double check as I don't want to see you get screwed over as much as you don't.

End gearing is different? So this is still up for grabs!

The gear ratio's are different.

Here is a fancy video showing the difference.

I just did a little bit of searching and reading, and it looks like TRE transmissions comes with a 1 year warranty; and it sounds like his attention to detail is much higher than Shep's.
