Not sure what the part number is, but I've got a 7bolt gsx and I need an oil pan gasket. Thanks

They use an expensive goo, not a gasket.

RTV is your friend.

Factory says use RTV. I believe you can get a paper gasket if you want to buy topline...

Just use some quality RTV. Make sure the whole pan is level, and don't overtighten the bolts.

Yea, do you have a torque wrench?

It's 60 inch pounds. Similar to the valve cover bolts. Basically just passed finger tight if you're wrench less.

^are you talking about the oil plug? Because I was told before that you should make sure that bolt is nice and tight.

I believe he was talking about the bolts that go around the oil pan. If you over tighten them you risk either stripping them out, or pushing all the RTV out and causing a leak.
