I remember reading about that twenty years ago in Hot Rod, and that was a reprint from 20 or so years before that. Cool concept, not so good in real life.

I remember a while back seeing one of these on ebay. If I remember corectly it went for a pretty good price. Pretty neat concept if you ask me.

Yeah, I love the idea. Now if this had been in F&F insted of NAWS, they would have had something and the boost that NAWS gives them would have been about right. Also, after the movie every little retard ricer would have died in a horrible mile-long fireball.
