Well ever since my civic head gasket blew I've been in the market for a new car, preferbly now DSM. The one im looking at can be found with pics and information in this other thread:

Talked to him, so did my step father and he said he'd take 2200 and my messed up civic for it. 130k miles awd 90 tsi 5spd. Apparently he's a mechanic and resells cars, mostly dsm's. He claims hes done alot of work on it, replaced all the belts, head and more. I really want a dsm but I hope it will be reliable. What do you guys think? I'm 17 if that plays a factor.

if that is that guys old car the car is georgious sp?. You can PM raptor if you want to know the entire story behind it because he found it hiding under a tarp with a blown motor (his bro bought it) then sold it to the guy on this board I believe. (I hope if I get a 1G to find one that looks that good)

I don't even believe the motor was blown when Raptor's brother-in-law found it but you are right that it was hiding under a tarp. If I remember correctly it had one shattered window and needed a fuel pump, I think. When his brother-in-law didn't want it anymore, Jason (jd1828) purchased it, and when it blew, sold it to the present owner who is now reselling it.
....I think I have all that correct :bounce:
I saw go for it, you'll have your first DSM when you're 17, not a bad accomplishment at all!!

Kiichi, the guy who has it now seems like he knows what he's doing. He works on alot of cars and sounds to be an honest-sincere guy. I believe he has done the repairs right, hes also selling a 91 auto AWD tsi if people want to look at it, its on dsmtrader under brooklyn park mn. I honestly haven't been out there to take a peek, we've only discussed it. Anyone know how the rust/paint is?
