AWD rear axle questions

i spoke with you yesterday on the phone about the axle on my 96 tsi awd.

i got it off and ended up ruining the spindle in the shop press. i had 20000 lbs of pressure on it and it still didnt break loose.

anyways i need to know whether that rear axle fits in eclipses too so i can locate a used one. like what years it would fit on both talon and eclipse.


i need to find this part today sometime cause im running out of heated garage time.

car is 96 tsi awd turbo with limited slip. not sure on locking rear end or not, ive been asked that before and i have no clue.

Pretty sure it will be the same for all 2gs, but I don't have a 2g so Nick will be able to clarifiy for sure.

But 1995-1999 Talon / Eclipse should do the job.

eclipse and talon should be the same suspension
I show 94-99 with lsd
not sure if abs or non abs would work

ABS shouldn't make any difference and all 2G AWD's had LSD.
