Peer to Peer Lending

Has anyone looked into or used a Peer to Peer lender before? It is a neat sounding concept and I am in need of a loan. There seems to be several of them but this one I know had some media attention. I need a non traditional lender since I have changed careers and own my own business for less than 2 years.
