I always had a sense of respect for the guy. On the show he seemed like kind of a hard ass but yet he came up with a lot of nice cars. Quite the shock for me to see he is gone. Just makes me think how bad of a day it will be when Carroll Shelby passes, Sucks to see the grand fathers of the car world go. Could be quite different without their part.

i sat there and watched his show for years wanting to meet him.....kinda sad how all the legends of automotive and bikes are getting harder to come by.

RIP Boyd, he came up with some very cool designs. He was a visionary for sure.

Sad to see Boyd go, but im sure his designs and ideas will be carried over.

I have to say I never really cared for his stuff personally, but the craftsmanship and quality were always top notch.
