My SS brake line fitting broke off inside the caliper. Its a shot in the dark but if I remove the 1 brake line and bring it to a shop, could they replace the fitting that screws into the caliper, thus saving the brake line? I'm just wondering if this can be done.

This is where the brake line screws into the caliper, see how it broke off inside the caliper.

Anyone know what size flare wrench I'm suppose to use to get this line off?

My car had 2 piston calipers (big brakes), powerslot rotors, and SS brakelines when I bought the car from Aaron aka "big brown". A seized caliper messed up my rotor on one side. I replaced my calipers (got both sides for cheap, $65 shipped total), rotors, and pads already. I don't want to drop like $100+ for a new set of SS brake lines. Its a shot in the dark, but its worth a try.

I know theres a shop in Minneapolis that makes brake lines. I forget the name ill try and look it up but its like brake company or somthing. And they made a whole new line from the master to the caliper for like 15 bucks.

Edit: Brake and Equipment

Ah, forget it, I'm using a vice-clamp on that fitting. I don't care if I mess it up anymore. Hopefully by tomarrow I would have it off.

Do you happen to know their phone number, or do they have a website? Brake and Equipment is the actual name of shop correct?

Thank you very much, hopefully this helps save me like $100 because I don't want to buy another set of SS brakes.:) Wish me luck on getting that stubborn brake line off though (You always need a bit of luck on your side when messing with these cars, they never seem to want to co-operate).
