Ok, i am thinking of getting a pickup, i am sick of asking/borrowing other peoples trucks to move furniture and other shit.
I want this truck to be able to tow the DSM if needed. Or do u think that this shouldn't even be used in my decision.
Cause if its not then i will just get a small toyota pickup preferably or S10

I think finding a truck that is ABLE to tow a dsm should be a part of your decision... I would say get a chevy 1500HD or else a 2500 but thats me, any HD 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck will do the job, hell you could get away with a 1/2 but I'm not a fan

Depends how much you want to spend, and if you want a truck to drive every day, or just when you need to haul/tow somthing.

A s-10 would do it. I pulled craigs 1970 dodge charger with the one I had. mine had the 4.3 in it worked just fine.

I would buy a International. I know it's old and goofy, but it's super cheap and doesn't break. I know it's prolly not a good choice for you, but it's how I roll.
Also, if you are going with an old/cheap Yoda; how about a Mighty Max? 4G54 if you go really old, 6G72 if you go 1990's

Id suggest at least a Hevy duty 1/2 ton. I have a light duty 3/4 ton with a 5.4 liter motor. You've seen how well it pulled my car. I averaged 75 MPH all the way to rock falls and back.

I just towed a dsm with my silverado ss with the 6.0 home a few days ago and it pulled it like it was nothing. I also towed 2 dsm's home with my previous 99 gmc cierra new style with the 5.3 and it was a bit of a load but it had no problem and the 5.3 gets pretty good gas mileage when daily driving it compared to the 6.0 and other brand trucks in the same size. I would go Chevy 1/2 ton 99 or newer and maybe a 1500 hd for a good price.

I towed my old fwd dsm with my dad's 4cyl Chevy Colorado a couple times, and it worked just fine. roughly 70 miles each way to where I had it stored, and never missed a beat.
