Here is the deal, I need some cams that will work with stock springs. I am going to be building a head with nice springs and valves and whatnot but until then I NEED cams but dont want to switch out the springs. I need to know whats the most aggressive cam I can get on stock springs? Really Im just looking for cams that are better then stock, can use stock springs, and that are cheap or that I can find used for cheap.

I know it is not common, but you can replace the springs while the head is on the car.

or if you just need some stock cams i can hook you up.

there is absolutely no point in buying 264's or 272's as a stopgap

If you want something cheap and used to get Brian Crower cams (their 272 grind will be fine with stock springs/retainers).

Come on do it all up on the first shot it is only money. When are you going to build a head with all upgraded parts?

HKS 272s or BC 272s. It's not like the HKS 272s are a bad cam either.

Forced Performance makes several sets of cams that will work just fine with the stock springs as well.

They only make 2 that can use stock, FP1 and FP2s.

If I buy springs they have to be dual valve springs.
