Anyone know where I can get interior paint to match the grey color of my a-pillar? I have an autometer boost gauge pod that I want to paint to match. I checked Checker and Napa around me and they didnt have any... thanks!

If you can, pull off a piece that is the same color you want to match, then go to wal-mart, checker, napa, o'riely's, ect. and try to match it to the cap. That should get you pretty close.

Will primer hold up?... or do I need to get interior plastic paint? I went to checker and napa and they didn't have any interior plastic paint that matched, I brought the caps out to my car... I forgot to check walmart though... thanks!

Walmart actually has a very nice paint and automotive dept, I'm pretty sure I've seen the stuff you're looking for there.

As long as you clean it really well and scuff it with a red scotch brite pad it should hold up just fine.

Well we will see how it turns out, I just sprayed it with grey primer I had around. I went to Wal-mart to see if I could find some maybe better matching paint and it must be the worst wal-mart ever... they didn't have a paint section at all really... all the other ones I've been to had a good section like Kracka suggested... oh well. Thanks for the help.. I'll post up when I get it all install of how it looks!

Walmart sells Krylon paint. Here you can view a color chart. Krylon paint is the best for plastic surfaces.

I actually used regular automotive paint on mine. For the final couple of coats use a very light mist and it will give it a matte finish (let it dry between coats). It matched great.
