The fact it is called an eclipse makes it hard not to want AWD/Turbo. Would it kill them to at least give it a power hump on the hood? ha
I love the looks of it though. I just noticed the spoiler has a nice brake light on it and the orange signal lights by the dual exhaust looks nice to. The really kept nice flow on this car. It is one of the few cars with a good looking back end too.
I have never driven a 4th Gen yet. How are they?

Mines really stiff, but I have the coilovers. As far as stock though it doesn't shake or anything at high speeds on stock assembly. I think the car rides pretty nice, I love it with the coilovers.

I think the changes to the 09 Eclipse look good. Hopefully the next gen will make it a real contender.

For some reason, I don't see them making the Eclipse AWD again. Why make something to semi compete with EVO sales?
You are right, that is what the Ralliart Lancer is going to be.

But they are perpetuating the turbo diesel awd rumors...

I am thinking RWD plus a chevy 350 swap... it would actually put the duel exhaust to use.:postalot:

Yup, that's the "new eclipse." People want to stick to the name, but the new ralliart lancer is what the eclipse was ten years ago. The new eclipse is....I dunno, a different car.

I digging it, but would like to see Mitsu put a turbo back in the Eclipse's.
