Another broken valve spring

Anyone have this problem this bad before. On this head I have broken 2 valvesprings now. The tuning and such is all stock and running on stock boost. Was there a defect in some springs or are they just old or something. I dont get it? Nothing even happened, I hit 1st gear up to 6k and then shifted to 2nd and it fell on 3 cylinders. Here is a photo.

No just new head gasket, timing belt ans such.

Bad luck it would seem, you could buy some Crower springs or I have a mountain of stock springs here $10 and you can take as many as you want.

You probably got a bad batch man, order some nice ones and some fatty cams while you're at it! :D

Well I am going to put all different valve springs in and that will be it since I am trying to sell the car.
