Who else uses these? The 3 main ones I know of are:

ING Orange Savings (4.10 APY)
Emigrant Direct (4.55 APY)
E-Trade (5.05 APY)

I have savings accounts with both ING and Emigrant, with a majority of it being in Emigrant. I was looking into E-Trade now also since it has the highest APY. The only thing I see that I don't like is they say "$15 per each Bank check request". I don't really know what that means so it may be no big deal.

Anywho, just wondering who else uses these online savings accounts. I love mine because their interest rates are always a bit higher then my local banks savings accounts. I still keep my Credit Card and Checking accounts with a local bank though, because I like being able to walk in and talk to someone if I have an issue with something. Savings I really only deposit into and rarely withdraw, so I usually don't run into issues there.

I think Im going to be switching to Etrade. Bank savings accounts suck.. I used to get like 13 cents a year. Even CDs through wells fargo are kind of a joke at like 4%, and you cant touch the money for X amount of time.

I use ING. I would consider switching to others, but I really like the Electric Orange checking account. I can take care of everything online. I honestly can't remember the last time I wrote a paper check.

As far as the savings go, yeah ING is on the lower end of online accounts, but most of my cash savings go into CD's anyway so it evens out a little. And with Electric Orange, it just makes sense to take care of everything in one place.
