It's also best to triangulate the bar to the firewall, however it isn't very easy to produce bolt in products that will do this.

I want to make one for the rear in my car as well.

I think that their model needs to visit the Dentist.

I put a simple ebay front strut tower bar in my 1G and 2G and it made a significant difference. Turn-in was improved greatly and the car steadied out through corners. Sway bars help even more :)

Evo VIII & IX come with them as a factory option, great piece.

The newer cars won't be as big of a difference, but a DSM isn't very stiff, so they help a lot.

My DSM Came with a cheapy. I've been looking for a reputable strut tower bar. Anyone know where I can find such a piece?

I like Jakey's idea, I am going to attempt to make a producable one in the future that attaches to the firewall. It may prove difficult to make for production though.
