Here is some info from the guy as well:

"I'm gonna upgrade to 3" exhaust next year, and then we'll raise it to 10psi. On the Ralliart Lancer and this size turbo that gains about 280 whp. But it all depends on the tune. My friend says that with a 50 trim it should be over 300 whp, but I'm happy as it is, cause I can't get traction in 2nd and 3rd gear.lol I'm telling you this thing is a beast. I really see how awd comes in handy. There really is no point on too much power on a fwd. The video and the dyno is coming soon, probably after holidays. Btw, we'll be making manifolds for those who are interested, and flanges for those who wanna make their own, like tubular. Log style are very good for the power we can make on these with stock internals anyways."

If a turbo GS is having that much traction problems at est ~250whp and no available LSD for the auto, FI for me is probably a waste of money.

I'll just stick to some basic NA bolt ons I guess.

Pie cut DP FTL.

A limited slip would probably take care of the traction issues for a while, mid 300's or so I would guess. You would still spin in 1st and 2nd probably though. I think you are on the right track, don't do much to this car and save the money to go to a different platform later.

Looks kinda ghetto compared to other stuff I've seen, especially the pie-cut DP like JET mentioned and the teensy-sized FMIC. Yuck.

pie cut is jdm lol

the lsd will help a little bit but in my talon with 400fwhp if would spin the 18in through 4th gear with the lsd in it but it was still a fun car before I took it all apart

For the potential power gains and the boost levels they are running, that FMIC core is plenty sufficient.

Not to shabby, I have seen worse kits. What is the retail on it?

Wow I thought that was from a shop.

For a home brew setup, not bad at all!

I think they did a good job, his GS now out performs a stock GT, and it sounds like he didn't spend all that much.

Sometimes I think it would have been cool to get the 4 cylinder and spend the money I saved on doing something cool like an AWD swap and some type of FI. But then again (I find myself saying this a lot? haha) i'm glad I did what I did for reliability sake.
