http://culturegarage.com/
A friend/co-worker of mine and a few friends of his created this website. It's an all encompassing site that is aiming to cover the whole culture of the automotive world and welcomes makes and models of all kinds.
Yeah this is a shameless plug, but it's a cool site and I think it has some potential. Check it out! It's not just a place to BS about cars but also a place to get auto news and content as well as share and maybe grow the culture.

i just checked it out quickly. it might have some potential, but honestly i could see it falling into the vast realm of ho-hum car websites. its needs something new, bigger, better, etc to set it off.
and fyi, IE 7 doesnt like some of the header info.
<!--[if lte IE]> <![endif]-->
^^is right at the top of the page.
good luck to your friend :)

IE 7 is the worst god-damn browser, ever! Go back to 6 for an upgrade on performance

Looks like a decent site! Hope they have the stamina to keep it updated! Not exactly something I expected from a bunch of Saab-zealots, but looks good!
IE sucks in general, the only upgrade for it is called Firefox.

yeah yeah... i use firefox and IE. why? cause when i do web design, i like to look at my pages through the eyes of most unknowing, uneducated web surfers out - which the most use IE :)
at least i dont turn down my screen resolution to 800x600 LOL

Web standards FTW. Even basic CSS between FireFox and IE7 is a PITA!
The site does looks like a lot to keep up with. The forums were not functional when I looked. The rest was blog style so it shouldn't be too bad for updates. Having it make money would be the only way I see it motivating them to keep it up long term.
It is nicely done and some interesting content already.
