1992 Talon TSI AWD Turbo
VIN Available upon request
78,000 miles
Electric blue ( stock color)
Not a spot of rust on or under the car
6/4 5 speed M/T combo
Never seen snow until a week ago
16 inch after market wheels with good tires (nothing fancy)
No A/C
Power steering belt cut off

The car is basically stock. It has a couple of things done to only because I had the parts laying around already.

2.5" turbo back exhaust
Small 16g Turbo
Walbro 255 Fuel pump
Tien lowering springs, AGX struts
Adjustable FPR
Koyo Radiator / slim fan
Stainless steel braided brake lines all around
Stainless steel braided clutch line
Drilled / slotted rotors up front

The car runs very solid as you would expect a car with so little miles. It has a slight idle surge currently since I had a 1g MAF put back in to replace a 2g MAF. I assume it's just missing a honey comb filter or something. Will look into it. It had a timing belt job done less than a couple thousand miles ago by the previous owner. It leaks no oil and as far as I can tell, it does not burn it either. It had a sudden leak in the power steering rack so I cut off the belt, no more leak. The tranny is not perfect but it's above average for a used tranny. Ebrake / brakes all work well.

The absolute only reason I am selling this car is because I make over a 30 mile drive to work every day and I bought a house so I'm about as broke as they come. I'm open to trade offers + cash for a reliable gas efficient vehicle.

Looking to get $4,500 OBO - Also will consider trades

I have a 1997 Mazda 626 5spd that has 100,xxx miles on it and is a deep purple color. Nothing wrong at all. Gets up to 36 on the highway, about 30 around town. Brand new tires up front and great tires in the back. Premium stereo and keyless alarm. Only thing wrong is that the suspension bushings need to be replaced (doesn't affect anything though).

I'm coming back to MN next friday afternoon from school so maybe if your interested you could look at it.
And what exactly is the deal with the tranny you say and how new or old is the clutch?

Not sure what I think of a 626. I guess I never really paid attention to them. Guess I'd have time to think about it.

The tranny works fine so long as I pay attention to what im doing. 1-2 goes perfectly smooth as long as you give it a brief second before putting it into gear. Other than that, it's an occassional notch in whatever gear. Like I said, nothing wrong with it, just needs to be driven the right way.

The clutch is stock, no idea on the miles. Had plenty of material on it.

ill trade u with a 98 honda accord, 4 door, black, manual transmisson, non v-tech but runs well, never had a problem with it. love the car but i want something with more power n it seems that we might have a good trade going on, so if ur interest in the trade, give me a pm. n we'll go from there.

I can say this this is a very clean, and a very nice car. Has that dent on the quarter panel been fixed?

Nope, no body work has been done to it. At that point, I would keep the car. I still have the car but the guy with the accord will be making his way to see / show the cars this coming weekend.

The car has a couple dings and dents, nothing too crazy. The worst of it is the rear quarter but I can't imagine it would take much to fix and I don't think it would need any paint work.
