Me too, but if you want a midsize, its a lose-lose if you go with a puny 4 banger..

That and the night before, he told me that insurance on the 6 was $5 more a month over the 4, and that mileage is about the same...

Whatever... i just need to vent!

The V6 drives REALLY nice and has decent power for that type of car. It also handles well for that catagory.

Yeah, the 6 cyl is on the bottom of what I would consider acceptable for that type of car. The 4 cyl was down right anemic! I bet he doesn't keep it long if he has to merge into traffic at all!

Hes picking it up on Weds, he also thinks he can haul his Jetski or 4wheeler like he could with the Avengers 2.5 Mitsu V6.... I dunno WTF hes smokin. He says that its the same HP, but 4lb ft of tq less than his Avenger so it shouldnt be a problem... WHATEVER!!! Im sure it will work, but not somthing I would want to do.

I got to beat the hell out of the 6s at the Rev It Up challenge last year, and yes, the V6 would be one I would drive.. would NOT consider the 4....

Ah well, guess the only reason I care is cuz hes a good friend, and i KNOW hes making a mistake.

Oh hes getting the 4Cyl cuz he got talked into it... i know it.

His reasoning... The 6cyl is $1800 more (well worth it) that and the salesman told him theyre arnt any 6cyl, 5speeds with leather and sunroof avail in the area....

Im about ready to say fuck it and let him screw up.... but he wants a midsize that can haul shit thats why I dont udersand, and hes not a "dumb" guy, he just got talked into it I think..

On a side not, another co worker just bought a 03 Tiburon V6 GT MTX... for 17k... Id take that and the 4000 savings over the mazda ANYDAY.

yeah, the new tiberon is cool. most anything designed by pininfarina is hot shizzle.

i'd drive it if i was looking for a car with a front drive v6.

does that come w/a 6 speed? i thought it did.

I coudnt decide whether to get a v6 or a 4 cly to replace the DSM's.

so i got a 5. i like it.
