i think it would look good.. a guy that i work with has a black 97 GSX with a cf stock hood and it looks just fine. I wouldnt worry about it.

I personally don't like carbon fiber on black cars, any other color and it looks great.
And here I thought this was a continuation of the bash Swifty thread. He bought my CF hood for his black car. I like it.
Aside from the glass it's now the only shiny body panel on the car. ;)

I love CF on black also, like of like ghost flames on a car. It doesn't jump out at you, but it is there.

Looks like ass on a black car... why? Because you can't see it, and the color is too close so that its bleh... I do like it tho when people paint their CF stuff, but yet mask off some revealing the CF very subtly.

I really like carbon fiber on black. If you didn't like it you could always paint it and just keep for the weight loss, or just sell it and get most if your money back.
