Looks like the rumors were true. A true wrx competitor priced as such.

I think this is a very cool thing. Evo 9 drivetrain!

It better come here! Mitsu needs a wrx competitor! If its anything like an IX it will be well worth the money!

Rumors are that it will be coming here. It's main priority is to go against the WRX and beat it. Sounds like it might be a good car for us tweakers too! I doubt it will have all the aluminum panels of the Evo, hopefully it keeps the roof. You could always add the rest of them.

If it has the same turbo and head/cam setup, who cares. As long as its relatively cheap it will be an awesome platform for DSM'ers to really latch onto, especially if it keeps the 4G63 on-board, as some of the rumors are saying.... :D

Yeah, it would be pretty sweet to get that. My car has steel panels and it's still light, and so can that car!

No, they have a 5 door also, this one won't be. The 5 door likely won't come to america, they are popular in europe though.

I have been hearing $26-$28k for a base price. About $6k under an Evo. I have heard the engine will be the 4b12t, like that article said. Maybe it will be a 4g64 though? That would rock!!
