I need bolts to bolt the engine to the engine stand for a 4g64 but what kind of threads do they need?

Or if I am at the junk yard what bolts from the engine/transmission work?

I usually use bolts from the car rebuild but since all of those bolts are now back in my car I don't have any to use.

Goto Ace Hardware, they're kinda expensive, but just keep them around. It'll cost ya like $20.

I don't remember the size. It'ssomething like m10 standard pitch. Pull off the tranny and match one of the transmission bolts to some appropriate length ones at the hardware store.

Yeah, the turbo bolts will work, they're a little short though.

If you end up buying them, find a Fastenal store. Fraction of the cost compared to your local hardware store.

The bolts you need: M10 x 1.25 x long enough to get 1/2" into the block.

Thats what I need!!! thank you

I went to Ace hardware also and Bought 4 bolts and even though they threaded a nut onto the transmission bolt and threaded the same nut onto another bolt, all 4 bolts wouldn't thread into the block correctly.
