I thought it was some sort of fluke at first, and did it a few times, and the same numbers keep coming up. But honestly, this internet is slow as dog shit, so that high number really doesn't make any sense to me. If I try to watch a YouTube video that's say 30 seconds long, I'll have to sit here for a good 2 minutes before it actually starts playing.

It's possible certain websites and stuff are being throttled but for some reason the speed test is not throttled down.

Is that a normal residence connection or are you behind some other firewalls and stuff?

It's the folks super rural DSL connection. They used to have a faster one, but it went down all the time. This is the only other choice in the area and they have never had any problems. stable>fast.

Hehe, gaming at home is now MUCH better than gaming at work.
Faster than 96% globally, 94% in the country. :) Not bad for cable internet in an apartment.
