But, the revving issue I've been facing is finally fixed. I drove up to Hitech, to purchase a MSD Dis-4. Drove to LSE, and Ryan and John wired it up with my COP setup. After breaking into my car, cause Ryan shut the doors, and didn't know the security system automatically locks with the keys in the ignition, we broke into my car, and I went for a testdrive, only to find that it didn't fix anything. so, John and Ryan wasted more time figuring out what it was. Ultimatly, it was within my map it'self. The fixed timing was on, and the map was screwed up. So, using John's old map from his old red car that made 550, we used it, drive on the street around the shop with the dyno wideband, to make sure my A/F's where matched correctly. Finally, after wasting 8 hours, the issue is fixed. But, on my way home, I noticed the car's headlights, and gauges were rather dim. A quick check of my turbotimer showed the 9.92 v the car was running at. Great. I guess the downpipe that close to the alt. finally ruined it. I turn back into the shop, and had to replace the alternator on the car in the parking lot, with some jackstands and tools and spare alternator a friend had. Crappy day, and crappy night. I also found I've left my credit card at the shop too, which is not good. I guess I'll get that soon. I will say thanks to John for staying and helping out greatly. He had to go home to his wife whom wasn't too happy I kept him, and for that I'm sorry bud. I should also thank ryan for wiring, and helping with the tune, and the ride home from the shop to get Kate's car, to go get the parts, to go BACK to the shop for me to work on it. I will thank Katelyn for sitting there all day, doing nothing but wasting time with me, and helping with the alternator. ARG! I can't wait till this car goes down for the winter, and I can tear into it more to replace things. As of right now, it smokes a bit (probably burning off oil that was soaked into their alt. that's on the car (still works!)) but it drives! And, the revving is fixed. I can't really juice it till it get's tuned, as up top it's a bit lean. So, No boost till next spring once Everything else is thrown at it.

Again, thanks to those whom helped. This has been causing me stress for some time now, cause I coldn't figure it out. Now, I can move on.:beerfunnel2:

Glad to hear it's fixed. As nice as the AEM is for ultimate tuning, it really sucks if you're not on top of it all the time and remember where all the individual maps and modifiers are. I think it'd be easier if we were down south and could drive these year round. Problem is I pretty much knew where everything was last year and forgot everything over the winter. I think I'll be real happy I went with the link, even though I have to have a bulky mass air sensor on the car for the first time ever.

Now put that thing away and get a nice realiable shitbox for the winter.

Just curious, but why did you need jackstands to replace the alternator?

Cause I had a longer bolt, with 2 nuts I used to but up against each other, since the old rod was coming out all the time. Over the winter, along with the other said parts, a Jay's racing alt. relocation kit is going on to eliminate the exhaust issue of melting shit.

Thanks guys. It feels good ot get it fixed, rather then waiting. Atleast hte head doesn't come off over winter. I totally plan on being on the rollers, with all my parts, built tranny, and perhaps even a fresh coat of paint (that's $500 witha friend painting it..anyone care to donate some dollars to the cause?)
