Winter is near so I know someone needs this for their winter vehicle!

The car has 101k miles on it, but the engine only has 46k on it (rebuilt by dealership) and the 14b turbo only has 21k on it (replaced by dealership). This car is a 5-speed and has the typical 2nd gear grind. The engine is a 6-bolt and it has a 4-bolt rear end.

I bought this car at 90,707 miles and have been daily driving it for over a year. I bought this car to save my S2000 from the winter and from bad weather during the summer. This car has never left me stranded and always started no matter how cold it got last winter.

Replaced when I bought the car (or just before):
-Southbend DXD clutch at 90,705 miles
-Complete timing belt job with Mitsu belts and tensioners and a new waterpump plus some oil seals at 90,100 miles performed by MAP
-new clutch master cylinder, rebuilt clutch slave cylinder
-Redline fluids in the tranny and xfer case, Mobil 1 75W-90 in the rear diff
-new thermostat
-new NGK spark plugs
-new paper air filter
-new Mitsu oil cap
-Silverstar headlights
-replaced all 3 wiper blades
-coolant change
-new brakes all around (pads and rotors)

Performed this summer:
-NGK BPR7ES plugs
-NGK wires
-K&N air filter
-hacked 1G MAS and can
-3" cast aluminum intake with BOV recirc. tube
-ported 2G exhaust manifold
-tubular 2.5" o2 housing
-ported 7cm turbine housing
-3" turboback exhaust with straight-through Magnaflow muffler
-larger turbo outlet elbow
-new Redline fluids in the tranny and xfer case
-crushed 1G BOV
-manual boost controller
-boost and A/F gauges in dual A-pillar pod
-Evo VIII fuel pump
-Evo VIII 560cc fuel injectors
-Apexi S-AFC
-coolant change
-rebuilt front brake calipers
-new front brake rotors and pads
-all replacement gaskets are genuine Mitsu, no junk! New gaskets were used for all parts installs, nothing was reused.
-boost leak tested, no leaks

I plan to install a Supra smic next week sometime and then I'd like to get it tuned by Shane at DB. Hmm, thats all I can think of but I am sure I'm forgetting something. This car runs and pulls very well. It comes with a Kenwood CD deck that I bought last year brand new from Crutchfield. I also had the windshield replaced this summer so thats nice and clear. I've used Chevron Supreme 10W-30 oil and Mitsu oil filters, and I will change it right before someone buys it so you'll have fresh oil.

The paint on this car sucks and is faded, but the rust isn't bad. Get a $300 Maaco paint job and you'd be in business! The interior is very clean and in good shape. I steam-cleaned it when I bought it and have kept it regularly vacuumed ever since.

I have the title in-hand and will provide the VIN# via PM. I have all the paperwork dating back to 1995 on the car. I also have the factory owner's manual.

I'm asking $2500 obo for this car.

Also wanted to add the battery is only a year old and it got a new Mitsu alternator belt just a few weeks ago. The tires (Firestone Supreme Si) were also new at 85k so they still have at least 75% of their life left; not a performance tire, but they are great in the rain and snow.

*sniff*

....I have a tear in my eye right now, and I hear boyz2men harmonizing in the background.....

'its so haaaaaaaaaaaard, to say goodbyyyyyyyyyyeyyeyeyeye, toooo the laZZZZZeerrrrrrrerereereroooooooooooooooooo!!!!'

With that said, it makes 200+whp on a DD, and once the supra sidemount is in, whomever picks up this cherry is just cams and a turbo away from some serious power! Also, working on this car has been awesome. It does not seem to fight at every bolt like the typical 1G DSM does. swapping in the manifold and turbine housing, o2 housing, everything came apart just sooo nicely. No broken studs, no seized bolts, etc. It drives nice, gets good mileage, and dare I say has been somewhat reliable for you hughes?

I am tempted to pick this up and make anna sell her VW GLI....just so she knows what REAL car drives like :D

Why do these allways come up after i've bought a vehicle, or when i have no money? :-(

I sold this to Chris and I personally know the previous owner that had owned it since 95. They were not car people and every service or repair was done in a shop. It was taken car of mechanically, too bad the paint is faded.

Good luck with the sale man. After reading what has been done since you bought it it is really tempting to buy it back.

I think I also forgot the mention the A/C blows very cold and the engine did not overheat no matter how hot it got this summer even with the A/C blowing on max. The heater is hot. Everything works as it should.
