Ok, thats what I thought, but the article said that only the RS, MR, and SE had aluminum hoods and the rest had steel. Thanks :)

The IX is rated slightly heavier than the VIII by Mitsu I do believe.

At least all the Evos I have seen have aluminum hoods.

My hood has rock chips that are exposing bare metal and it isn't rusting, so I'm pretty sure it's aluminum. :)

the only ones that ever came with a steel hood is the evo I and II
