Holy shit Guitar Hero 3!!!

Scheides, I was wrong, Metallica did make it into GH3. 'One' is in the second to last set of songs, and it's fucking awesome!

After you beat the game you get to play Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce during the credits (you can't fail it, it's ridiculously hard), it's absolutely awesome.

The track list kicks fucking ass, there are so many good songs and such a good mix of rock genres. Totally worth the 60 bucks.

Off the top of my head, Metallica, Dragonforce, Scorpians, Heart, pat benitar, AFI, Slipknot, Disturbed, Aerosmith, The Killers, Muse..... seriously....

Hey Mark do you have a 360? If you want i'll bring my game and controller over for your halloween shindig, if you are interested.

'One' is a top 10 tallica song for me, but I think Master of Puppets would have been better, the fuckin solo in that song is suhhweeeet!

I never enjoyed GH so much as I did last night though, there are so many awesome songs, playing through GH2 I never bothered to like crank the sound up, but last night I found myself missing notes just to take my hand off the controller to turn up a good song.

Like I mentioned in Mark's halloween thread, i'll bring it over sometime if you wanna play it before you buy it.

back in j-high and high school I was absolutely nuts over metallica, I still love their music but honestly I don't care for them much anymore, they have way to easily proven to be nothing but money minded jerks these days. Their last album was sub par, they still kick ass in concert, but I won't pay 100 bucks for good seats ever again.

Everything up to and including the black album though will remain untarnished, just because that music is so amazing and groundbreaking.

imho Dragonforce is the new age metallica, they are the new standard for musical talent, taking power metal to a whole new level of talent. They honestly do suffer a bit live, because of the difficulty of some of their songs, they are a bit of a "studio band," but I saw them live in August and it wasn't nearly as watered down as I was lead to believe, in fact I hardly noticed a difference.
