I love my valentine, but this new Escort detector looks pretty sweet. The most notable feature is the GPS stuff, drive past the same false-positive 3 days in a row and the unit learns to ignore it (and only it) in the future. Very cool!!!

price is a little steep though....$450, yeow!

Its about time one of the high end units did this, I purchased this unit years ago just so I knew how fast I was going. http://www.uniden.com/products/productdetail.cfm?product=GPSRD
But I did not trust it to have the same detection as a Valentine 1 or Escort xxxx. That 9500 is spendy but I am sure its worth it. I think I paid $200 for my Uniden.

I have just a cobra radar detector, works decent for me i guess. I wish they had a radar detector with like a screen or something that said whenever a cop/ person of authority was even just around. Unless they already do (?) I just think it'd be sweet.

I've actually been surprised by the effectiveness of my target bought Cobra. I've been using it for years and it's saved me countless times. The false positives are really annoying though, especially with how sensitive mine is on X-band. If I was just a little richer....

Someone busted the window out of my Z06 at the mall a little more than a month ago. The only thing they took was my Valentine1. :( I was actually looking at the 9500 while I was on the plane back from SEMA yesterday. It's going to be a tossup because I love the fact that the Valentine tells you what direction the signal is coming from. Decisions, decisions....
