Yeah, you don't really need much if your car isn't slammed and you're mostly street driving. Our car really likes almost 3.5* of rear wheel camber for racing. I can actually get that with the stock eccentric bolts at the ride height we're at.

Are you on coilovers? How much lower than stock are you? I'm pretty sure I'm going to cut a coil off my Eibach Sportlines.

I have a few different setups. At RA this past weekend I was on cut springs (silly chumpcar rules). I've also run coilovers and that's what i'll run next year in WRL. By coilovers, I just mean 2.5" ID springs and adjustable perches. Can't run adjustable shocks without a hit.

Hard to say how much lower. Ground clearance wise not much if any, but we're running much bigger wheels so in reality probably quite a bit. I'd guess maybe 2-3"?

Well, continuing off my last post and deciding I can't get there from here, I picked up a set of good coilovers from EvoM, JIC Magics. Of course there are a few challenges, but that's what makes it fun.

Then comes the fun part, converting from Evo fitment. First, after a lot of measuring and luckily having an Evo 5 feet away, I drilled new holes for the top mount.

Then comes drilling out the lower holes for the larger Evo bolts and grinding off the factory eccentric portion of the upper bolt since I don't need that weak camber adjustment anymore. Up next, fabbing the brackets for the extra width of the coilover lower mount and bolting up the fronts. Holes on the shock tower will be welded up and the whole engine bay will get painted this winter.

I still need some blown rear shocks if someone has some. I need to cut and weld the lower mount to these.

Success! One down, three to go. Bonus, with a little coaxing, the factory brake line mount bolted right up to the JIC.

Not sure why the pictures turned sideways.

Wow, nice work!
What spring rates are on those?
