a lot of companies (not nessesarily yours) will pay for Approved overtime only. So if its not approved then your out of luck.

According to the law they have to pay me overtime if I work over 40 hrs. Approved or not I worked and I want at least get paid for the 4hrs at regular pay.

WOO WOO!!!!!! I was just notified that I won my case against my former employer and that a check will be mailed to me this afternoon!

Hmm I think they have to pay you for unapproved overtime.

But I'm pretty sure they can then fire you for it.
