So as you all know i just went through a flood Where supposedly i was my car got totalled. Well i wasnt going to take that and I took the time to get her back to new. This included new interior, new oilpump, and basicly every gasket on the bottom half of the engine, end clutches, etc etc.
Started as this

Then i had to rip it all out

After driving around like that for awhile and with one seat i got the stuff to put the interior back together

During the flood my girl lost her cougar as well. there was no chance saving it. She ended up picking up a 97 talon nt for real cheap as a fixer upper (for me to do)

Nice job, i am in the progress of putting in my carpet too, i will be surprised if i don't have to throw it away and order another one, i suck at life.

Thats cool about the fuel badge, not like i can stop everyone, plus i will take it as a compliment!

Good luck on your quest to save your car.

Looks good. I'm at the same point myself, two 1G's side by side with the interior ripped out. I pressure washed the carpet of the parts car I got from John and it turned out better than my carpet. All the heat, AC, power steering, rear seatbelts and stuff are going into my car. It's a lot of work, but having an interior that feels like new will be worth it. Plus mine's getting a few Lexus-ish touches. The only 1G with navigation baby.

It sat in about a foot and a half maybe two feet of water with like 2 inches inside the car. The national guard wouldnt let anyone in for a week so she just sat in the water. luckly the water didnt reach the ecu or the tcu
