The ralliart also doesn't have fender flares, ACD or aluminum roof.

I believe it DOES have ACD, but it does not have S-AYC. It's basically the 05/06 evo drivetrain with SST tranny.

I may be in the market for an evo at the end of this summer, and it will be an evo VIII. I am not a fan of the Active Center Diff, which have heard a few people have problems with. and for the price of a new EVO X, i could have 2 Evo VIII's. Plus i think the EVO X looks like balls!!!
Who's had probs with the diff? Mine and most of the others I've seen/heard about hold up to a lot of abuse!

My bad, wrong combo of letters.

A few people around this area have had the ACD pump go out. Also I've heard mixed feelings about the ACD. Good friend of mine had an VIII and then bought a IX. He hates the ACD and hates the gearing in his IX, but he sure does love mivec. He ran 11.9 on just a turbo back exhaust and a tune, everything else was pure stock!

This is assuming you are running stock sized tires on each car.
For gas milage considerations, here is a break down top gear RPM at various cruiseing speeds on the highway.

And for full throttle acceleration considerations, here is a break down of what speed you are going at the top of each gear just befor shifting to the next higher gear (assuming shifting at stock redline of 7,000 RPM) and what RPM you enter the next higher gear at.

My buddy just picked up a new Evo and some company called Mackin Industries is using his car to make a downpipe and exhaust. I have never heard of the company but free is free.
