Im trying to wire up 5 or 6 LEDs. For the sake of this thread lets just say that I will need a 2Ohm resistor for the LEDs. Do I need a seperate resistor for each LED or can I wire in one resistor and make 5 leads off that to go to the LEDs? (see pic)

I would think you'd be fine just using 1 resistor then putting the LED's in parrallel like that. Voltage stays constant in parrallel circuits. So as long as the 2Ohm resistor bumps the Voltage down to whatever you need it at, then I think you should be fine.

Yep, brandon is right. You can do that, it just adds to the amperage draw going through the resistor. With LED's you don't need to worry about that though.

OK thats what I was thinking, Thank for the help!
