Its raining like crap outside so I can't go check out my dumb car.
But over the weekend, my damn car died. Wouldn't start. Battery is still good so I took it to get recharged. Recharged battery and car was working again. So i'm thinking maybe its the alternator.

But it was running perfectly fine a week ago.

I have a spare dead one and am going to get it rebuilt, then put it in to see if it is the problem.

I'm getting pretty tired of having a dead battery or dead alternator every summer.

So if it is crapped out, what is it that can help affect and kill my alternator?

underdrive pully, large stereo, bad cables is where I would look first.

Make sure you have good grounds. You may have just gotten a weak used alternator.
