So I just read the review not that long ago... They don't seemed impressed with it as I thought they would have. They said it is a great car for the price however it is not the same evo as what we had before... Doesn't have the quick steering and it is actually slower. However they mentioned they didn't test out the Evo MR
but if they aren't impressed with the base model evolution what will the MR version bring...
Well, you better check it out again because there has been no review of the Evo X. There was one leaked in Japanese, but was quickly taken down and noone could understand it anyway.
Check out this video of the prototype X, this is not quite the production version, but close.

Hmm...
Well the one they tested had the right hand drive so I thought thats was the Evolution. It said it got released in japan before it get to america. Maybe I miss read the article and it was a Lancer with a turbocharger...
It may have been the prototype X, but it is not the production car. I have never seen C&D drive any of the X's. They are also the ones that said the RS version of the X will have an iron block, yeah right. Like they would make an iron block for just one low production version of a car.

Yeah, it'll have the same engine, that would be a big waste of money for mitsu.
Alright, this must be the review you are refering to, but it is of a Japanese prototype. The guy obviously can't drive as the 102 mph trap should be good for a 13.3 or so. That also explains the bad 0-60. I was expecting more power though. I don't think I am going to get one now until I see what it does with mods.

Thats it!!!
I knew I wasn't going crazy.
The whole aricle is kind of confusing. First it starts by saying how it is heavier then it goes into how the aluminum makes the body light...
3500lb.. kind of heavy.
This is the base model however. This is telling us nothing of the MR. That version has to be lighter and have a whole different feel to it.
From what I have seen they are calling the premium package in Japan, the MR over here. Just bigger brakes, lighter wheels and the SST availability. There are some looks things also. The japanese brochure didn't show anything else, but it may have said more. Slowly stuff is starting to leak out. I was really looking forward to getting one, but the lower than expected HP sucks. .97 on the skid pad is pretty awesome though!
